Judith is a biblical anglo-saxon poetry written during the middle ages in England. the story talks about the beheading of holfernes, the assyrian military leader. This paraphrase is bloody and involves sex and shows Judith as smart, has courage, and powerful. Judith is considered a female hero , she was invited to a fiest hosted at Holofernes tent. holofernes who got drunk and tried to rape Judith but he passed out before that happened. She took his sword and shopped his head off.

literature is a course that is required by undergraduate school to obtain a certain degree. i chose british literature because it has a rich history, famous writers like shakespeare. this course helps student understands the historical works written by well known writer, and to give critical thinking that shows the value of these great works. i believe that it is important to appreciate and respect the ideas of the prominent authors.
